Routescene becomes ARPAS member
At Routescene, we are passionate about cultivating an engaged community of drone operators. We work to create design, develop and manufacture integrated 3D mapping solutions using LiDAR specifically for use on drones (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or UAVs). We are delighted to have joined ARPAS.
ARPAS, the Association of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, is a not for profit trade association and professional body. It supports and acts on behalf of the remotely piloted aircraft (RPAS) community.
Routecene CEO and founder Gert Riemersma commented, “In joining ARPAS, we feel we have found an organisation that will work closely with industry regulators. In particular, CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), as well as UK Government departments to influence and ensure that the regulatory framework for the safe and professional operation of remotely piloted aircraft are fit for purpose and encourages best practice.”
Graham Brown, ARPAS-UK CEO, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Routescene as a new member to ARPAS-UK. Routescene software offers LiDAR solutions for drones, that can be used in multiple sectors to great advantage. Routescene are supporting the drone industry as whole as it moves forward and we’re pleased to have them on board.”
We feel ARPAS’s vision perfectly aligns with our own. It is for this reason that we think our partnership with this leading authoritative body is an invaluable resource in raising awareness and furthering understanding.
