Routescene joins ARPAS – the UK Drone Association

At Routescene we are passionate about cultivating an engaged community of drone operators. We design, develop and manufacture integrated 3D mapping solutions using LiDAR specifically for use on drones (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or UAVs). We are delighted to have become a member of ARPAS.

ARPAS

ARPAS, the Association of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, is a not for profit trade association and professional body. It supports and acts on behalf of the remotely piloted aircraft (RPAS) community.

Why Routescene joins ARPAS

Routecene CEO and founder, Gert Riemersma, commented, “In joining ARPAS, we feel we have found an organisation that will work closely with industry regulators. In particular, CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), as well as UK Government departments to influence and ensure that the regulatory framework for the safe and professional operation of remotely piloted aircraft is fit for purpose and encourages best practice.”
